Rod Wave has issued a response to Boosie after he claimed he would be suing the “Long Journey” rapper for sampling his 2010 song, “Incarcerated.”
Recently, the Louisiana rapper took to social media to call out other artists, with Rod Wave being his first target specifically.
Boosie said, “Can’t let you just take my sh*t and I’m not getting nothing,” he explained. “I just want my split, you know, my cut … I ain’t mad, I love when they do that sh*t.” Adding that he appreciates when other artists “give [him his] flowers,” it’s only fair that they also give credit where it’s due. “You gotta compensate me, too,” he said. “It’s a business.”
However, on Monday, Rod Wave shared a video stating that he had no problem with paying Boosie his cut.

“This shit got to stop man, man you ain’t got to sue no nigga like me man imma pull up. F*ck you talk bout suing me.”
He continued, “I’ll pull up on you bro. Tell me a number. A real number though. Not no crazy number. A nigga will pull up and make sure you straight. You ain’t got to sue me f*ck.”
