The situation between Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson has taken a dangerous turn, with the actress applying for and being granted a temporary restraining order against her former boyfriend.
The situation came to light on Thursday when newly unveiled court documents showed Palmer had filed for sole legal and physical custody of their eight-month-son, Leodis. In the form, Palmer chose not to offer Jackson joint custody. This raised questions that were only exasperated when it was also revealed that Jackson had physically assaulted Palmer throughout their relationship, with the most recent incident being November 5th.
Palmer attached still images to the restraining order request from the day Jackson came to her home last week. The photos show what appears to be Jackson dragging Palmer from her couch and striking her while on the ground. In another image, he is shirtless and trying to get her up the stairs. The judge approved a temporary restraining order and gave Palmer sole custody given the evidence against Jackson.
Jackson hasn’t responded to the situation, though he did tweet a photo of their son with the caption, “I love you son. See you soon.” His brother, Sarunas Jackson, also tweeted a response, claiming someone was “vile” and “manipulative” but he quickly deleted it once the still images surfaced.
Palmer’s mother, Sharon Palmer, also shared a very rare Instagram Live, confirming that her daughter had been abused by Jackson and that Sarunas knew about it.
As for Palmer, she is remaining quiet on the situation.
